Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, your duties will include:
- Protecting people, property, vehicles and company assets.
- Controlling access to premises by monitoring entry and exit points.
- Verifying visitors and maintaining accurate access records.
- Conducting routine patrols of buildings, facilities and surrounding areas.
- Monitoring CCTV systems, alarms and other security equipment.
- Identifying and reporting suspicious activities or security risks.
- Responding quickly to emergencies, alarms and security incidents.
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate security documentation.
- Enforcing company security policies and site procedures.
- Supporting emergency preparedness, fire prevention and evacuation procedures.
- Inspecting security equipment and reporting faults when necessary.
- Delivering professional customer service to clients, visitors and employees.
- Identifying potential risks and recommending preventative security measures.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- A valid PSIRA Grade C Certificate.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Previous experience in the security industry.
