MISA Apprenticeship Programme 2027

The MISA Apprenticeship Programme is a three-year structured training programme designed to provide unemployed young people with the technical knowledge and practical experience needed to work towards becoming qualified artisans.

  • Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Mathematics and a fourth subject relevant to the trade.
  • A technical trade theory programme quality-assured by a SETA and considered equivalent to NQF Level 3.
  • A relevant Engineering NC(V) Certificate with seven subjects at NQF Level 3.
  • Technical Grade 11 with Mathematics, Science, a language and a related theory subject.
  • A relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma in the T, S or N stream directly related to the trade.
