Entry Requirements
To qualify for the 2027 Student Nurse Intake, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be a resident of Gauteng Province.
- Meet the minimum academic requirements.
Hold one of the following qualifications:
- Senior Certificate
- National Senior Certificate (NSC)
- National Certificate (Vocational) – Primary Health
Current Grade 12 learners may apply using their Grade 11 final results, provided they satisfy the minimum admission requirements.
Senior Certificate Requirements
Applicants must have:
- English: HG D or SG C
- Biology: HG D or SG C
- Mathematics: HG D or SG C
- Minimum M Score of 17
National Senior Certificate (NSC) Requirements
Applicants must achieve:
English – Level 4
Life Sciences – Level 4
Mathematics – Level 4
OR
Mathematical Literacy – Level 5
Applicants must obtain an APS score of at least 27, with Life Orientation counted as half.
National Certificate (Vocational) Requirements
Applicants must obtain:
At least 50% in Fundamental Subjects.
At least 60% in the following Vocational Subjects:
